LV3622 LINEAR AMPLIFIER

APPLICATION

The LV 3622 is a single channel linear amplifier, specifically designed to drive high impedance loads at high voltage levels. The LV 3622 features isolated inputs and outputs that allow three LV 3622 amplifiers to be connected in a wye configuration with common neutral for power utility or related applications. The LV 3622’s versatility makes it useful in industrial and commercial power applications including power system modeling, shaker tables, low frequency building resonators. The LV 3622’s low distortion level makes it ideal for drive actuators, servos and other positioning units. AE Techron’s LV 3622 is also used to supply clean power for processes, drive transducers and simulate Europe’s 50 Hz power sources.

INDICATORS AND CONTROLS

  • Front panel LEDs indicate output overload
  • A pushbutton power “On/Off” located on the front panel
  • Two circuit breaker resets on the back panel
  • An input barrier block on the back panel
  • Four output terminals, with 5-way binding posts, on the back panel.

PERFORMANCE (One hour continuous ratings)

Frequency response: dc to greater than 50 kHz, 5-30 kHz +0,-1 dB.

THD + Noise: Less than 0.10% at 600 hz, full output power.

Differential Phase Error: Less than 0.1 degree at 60 Hz (unit to unit).

Input Impedance: 50.0k ohm differential.

Output impedance: Less than 10 milliohms.

Output Load Constraints: 24 ohm minimum, 0-90 degrees.

Gain: 30 or 60 volts/volt +/- 0.2% internally selectable.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Chassis:The Amplifier is designed for stand alone, or rack mounted, operation. The Chassis is black steel with a silver finished aluminum front panel. The unit occupies two EIA 19-inch-wide units.

AC Power: Available in 100, 120, 220, 230, or 240 volt single phase, 47-63 Hz, 7.5 amperes ac service. Call for more information.

Cooling: Forced air. Intake through removable filters on the front panel, exhaust through side panels.
