AE Techron - Caring Firm Carries an Award

AE Techron is a rising star when it comes to local business.  It is a company that was among businesses honored last November with a 2003 Growth 100 Award.

Sponsored by Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship, the awards annually recognize 100 high potential businesses in Indiana.  The awards are based on sales and employment growth during the previous year.  The companies picked had high growth despite a challenging economy for Indiana.

AE Techron creates and services electronic products used by researchers, manufacturers and the military.  Its market is worldwide.

AE Techron’s president has set goals for the upcoming years: to obtain ISO 9000 (International Organization for Standardization) compliance, which is an international reference for business dealings that aims to enhance customer satisfaction and improve performance.  In addition he wants to have “…20 percent growth again this year…which is the maximum controlled growth we can have.  And, of course, to win the Growth 100 Award again.
